The Jesus Rule is superior to and supersedes all societal rules and theories.
The Jesus Rule is the action that results in human mercy and compassion.
The Jesus Rule is fundamental to the Ten Commandments and the prophets and the greatest (Matthew 22:35-40) and most important (Mark 12:28-31) commands of Jesus to the apostles.
Baptized Disciples of Jesus (BDOJs) are commanded to obey the Jesus Rule.
The Jesus Rule is the foundation for the working definition of sin.
The Jesus Rule is the essence of the judgment day standard of Jesus words.
The Jesus Rule is a key part of Jesus directions to Heaven.
Obeying the Jesus Rule prevents lying, cheating, stealing and harming others.
What is the Jesus Rule? One of Jesus’ commands to the apostles and disciples.
12 “So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 7:12
Human mercy and compassion are accomplished by mentally placing self in the situation of another and then treating another as self would desire.
Doing something to another soul that self would not desire for self is the working definition of sin.
The directions to Heaven include obeying the Jesus Rule: Matthew 28:18-20.
- Decide to become a disciple of Jesus, being baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit for the forgiveness of sins so that your soul can be in the presence of Almighty God,
- Do your best to obey everything Jesus commanded the apostles realizing that the blood of Jesus continually cleanses faithful, obedient disciples.
Jesus’ words will be the standard on judgment day which includes the Jesus Rule.
There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; the very words I have spoken will condemn them at the last day. John 12:48
